The two new courses we have all been waiting for has come to the Pioneer Vallery!:
Landscapes of the Seasons Photo Workshop and
Variety is the Spice...Photo Workshop.
Here's the first (please scroll down for the second one):

Landscapes of the Seasons Photo Workshop for Intermediate/ Advanced Photographers

This workshop is limited in enrollment and there is lots of interest now!

We meet on Wednesday evenings, 7:00 pm-9:00 pm at The Gallery to critique the images from the month before and learn tips and techniques of what to expect the next Sunday during our field trip (six local sites and six not-so local sites.)

There will be 24 sessions! Participants may be subjected to a formal Portfolio review unless they are Gallery Exhibitors or Past Gallery Photo Workshop Participants.

  • There will be 36 hours of outdoor field trips and 30 hours of organized Gallery classes. Total hours will be a minimum of 66 hours.
  • Participants will be guided to prepare for our field trips prior to undertaking the new field trip experience.
  • Learn a refreshing approach that is different and will give us a competitive edge in our photography.
  • We build on our present abilities and come away with a clearer sense of direction in capturing landscapes.
  • Monthly themes will be moving water, fall foliage, urban, pastoral beaches, snow, hundreds of thousands of daffodils, farmland, mountain top, sunset, coastline, sunrise (only kidding!)and more!
  • This opportunity provides encouragement, instruction, critique, and inspiration to bring out our own personal creative expression stimulated from our fellow photographers and our Massachusetts countryside in the rain or shine.
  • Open ourselves to healing, soul searching and invite a deeper connection with the mysteries of landscapes.
  • Nourish our development of the creative seed of artistic awareness.
  • Intensify our sensitivity to the natural world and learn higher level concepts of light and color.
  • Challenge us to produce more expressive images to convey our feelings.
  • We will abandon the rigidly technical and structural approach and embrace our emotional impulses in Camera RAW with our D-SLRs.
  • Receive an earned and deserved Certificate of Merit in successfully completing an Advanced Photo Workshop.
  • Receive an invitation to exhibit in a "Group Landscapes Photo Exhibit" at The Robert Floyd Photo Gallery. Gallery exhibit guidelines apply.
  • This workshop will leave an everlasting impression on us and gives us that boost of stimulation we all need.

    WED Evenings at The Gallery:
New starting date: MAR 3, APR 7, MAY 19, JUN 9, JUL 28, AUG 11, SEP 29, NOV 3, TBA, TBA, TBA, TBA

    SUN mornings Outdoor Field Trips:
New starting date: MAR 7, APR 11, MAY 23, JUN 13, AUG 1, OCT 3, NOV 7, TBA, TBA, TBA, TBA

Here's the best part...to create a never-to-be-offered value enriched workshop at a rock bottom investment, we took the cost of individual evening/ morning workshops and multiplied them by 12 and adding all to arrive at an investment of only $1,200. Realizing some participants may miss one class, we will deduct the investment for one class upfront to arrive at a better investment of only $1,100. To be fair in addition, we now will reduce that investment by a whopping 10%...stay with me here...for a final investment of only $990 for twelve critique and prep session and 12 field trips and an invitation to exhibit and a certificate of merit and...OK...we'll throw in another 14% or so discount for early registration...for a record low investment of $850...an unbelievable savings of $350!

There is limited enrollment so please send us an email right away at floydphoto@charter.net Thank you so very much!
